Poliarte Design
Poliarte Design is the rediscovery of historical pieces from the company Poliarte, now known as Progetto Arte Poli. We create modern versions of Poliarte lamps and new design elements for furnishing contemporary spaces.
Sculptures of Light
The World of Poliarte Lamps is a multidimensional space that belongs to formal brutalism and harbors a unique luminous glow. Each lamp, through metal and glass, creates interplays of light, shadows, and colors, giving life to a design that has stood the test of time, thanks to the craftsmanship of artisans.
rottura spaziale
Rottura Spaziale is one of the most famous and sought-after Poliarte lamps, here reinterpreted in a modern key with the aluminum structure replaced by patinated bronze. This lamp represents the vision of a material surface where static two-dimensional solidity meets light, creating a breach in the plane and emerging as a crystalline and tangible three-dimensional element. Square-based prisms with irregular surfaces evoke the modularity of other Poliarte lamps, while the glass shapes the metal, resulting in a precious interplay of light and shadows.
Polight Lamps
Polight lamps are furnishings and works of art crafted with artisanal mastery and a contemporary perspective: a way to convey messages and add a touch of color to modern spaces. These lamps are fully customizable, from choosing the glass sheet to the slogan.
Always be proud
The interplay of colors, unique and unrepeatable, makes each glass sheet a one-of-a-kind piece.
Light my fire
Chromes and messages emerge thanks to a steel structure and neon lights.

Save the planet

Save the planet – 60 x 90 cm
Customize your Polight
Each Polight lamp is unique because the individual glass sheets are handcrafted by master artisans who still work with an ancient technique to bring forth unique shades and colorations. The uniqueness is also guaranteed by the decorative engravings, created using the sandblasting technique at the artistic workshop of Progetto Arte Poli, which you can choose and customize according to your style and furnishing needs.

Cardo Bookshelf
The unmistakable geometry of the lamps comes alive in this freestanding mahogany wood bookshelf with glass, marble, and brass inserts. A solid structure capable of transforming the entire look of a room, where you can collect books, magazines, collector’s volumes, and design objects.
The name Cardo, derived from the Latin word “cardum”, meaning pole or cardinal point, emphasizes how the new Poli Arte Design bookshelf is a true reference point in our atelier’s style. Just as Decumano first paved the way, Cardo invites us not to lose sight of the Poliarte style and tradition in creating original and innovative furnishings.
The Cardo bookshelf is also a reference point for other aspects: it is the place of culture that houses precious texts and objects. With its linear geometry, it defines multiple horizons and perspectives, influencing the furnishings in the environment where it will be placed.
The materials used for creating the bookshelf make it highly customizable: it adapts to different interior architectures while maintaining undeniable iconicity. Mahogany or oak for the supporting structure, Carrara or Portoro marble for the distinctive elements, and brass and steel for the metal structures—gold and silver for the glass: these original combinations give each element a consistently different and unique appearance.
Disassembling and reassembling symbolically, let’s imagine the lamp by master Albano Poli. An iconic object whose forms become tracings, structural axes of a table: Decumano, precisely
Glass, bronze, and stone.
A shared symbol of Italian heritage and tradition, which through technique and innovation, reimagines an artwork that transcends rules and measurements
Decumano, born as an aggregation of matter concentrated around a fulcrum, draws generative and virtuous inspiration from the world of master Albano Poli. Crafted through a strict principle of material identity and sincerity, using ancient methods preserved in the memory of artisans at Progetto Arte Poli in Verona, Decumano carries a rich legacy of artistry. This legacy is interpreted through the innovative and futuristic pen of the design team at Bertone Design, led by architect Alberto Talarico.
Rules that become freedom
A free composition of planes and surfaces, where matter creates spatiality through movement: the table, disassembled and asymmetric, yet born from a certain rationalism and geometric abstraction, harmoniously blends the infinite nature of artistic works with the temporally contextualized world of design.
A new type of beauty
The table is the gigantography of a luminous sculpture from the Poliarte glass-blown line, which has remained iconic over time. Bertone Design has skillfully translated the traces of this sculpture, evolving it into an object capable of conquering contemporaneity. It’s a dialogue between different experiences and expertise, united by a shared sensitivity for beautiful and well-crafted things.
Solidity and Innovation
Decumano represents the meeting point between Bertone Design’s innovative thinking and the rich tradition of art and craftsmanship by Progetto Arte Poli: a table with a solid body, even though it is composed of multiple elements, and a glass disc that makes it a precious object with a design at the boundary between architectural monumentality and artistic lightness.

POLIARTE, A HISTORIC BRAND
Poliarte, a brand of Progetto Arte Poli, stands out in the panorama of Italian furniture design of the 70s with recognition at the XXXIV Venice Biennale: a lamp sculpture with cubic geometry becomes the symbol and inspiration for all subsequent production. In fact, from the combination of glass, wrought iron, bronze, and silver, Poliarte lamps are born: unprecedented shapes with formal linearity in balance with the nature of the glass and the solidity of the materials.
Albano Poli
